Obedience is the fruit of Faith. ~ Christina Rossetti

Obedience (3)

Recently I was asked if I get tired or don’t want to write my daily post.  To which I answered YES, because I do.  So what keeps me going? Obedience.  It is my Faith in the Lord and my love for His people that creates in me a renewed strength.  For me, this is a season of planting.  And what’s even more awesome is, His harvest CANNOT be stopped!

Think about it, most people with whom you speak, want something.  However, they are also not willing to extend themselves, beyond their limits of comfort.  So if having what you’ve never had before, requires doing what you’ve never done before, well to me, that is the definition of obedience.  It’s a requirement to follow a basic principle of sowing and reaping.

Let see, if you were to take a poll of what and how you spend the majority of your time, are you comfortable?  When was the last time you challenged yourself to character building activities?  Obedience as a way of life that will garner a harvest surpassing all expectations.  So it’s time to plant something new to get something different.

Do something today that stretches you!  And please, reply and let me know what you did.  I’d love to hear back!
