Feelings of being overpowered by… A sense of being buried or crushed under the weight… Succumbing to the struggle of what to do, when to do and/or where to go!  Seriously, I am so there right now here today.  Living a passionate life draws others to you and creates many, many request for your time and talents.  Combine those request with a loving and giving heart…BAM! Now you’re in the OVERWHELMED zone.

Remembering this too shall pass, and the sense of distress is your indicator to STOP and SEEK the Lord’s guidance to align opportunity with purpose.  And yes, I give thanks in ALL things even in overwhelmed. Because there are only 2 options when overwhelmed arrives at your door step; 1) keep doing what you’re doing but in a different manner (EFFICIENT) or 2) seeking the Lord’s wisdom to do less with better results (EFFECTIVE).  Well I’m choosing the latter and will be 1) staying home today to rest and 2) take a break from posting my daily original quotes until after Labor Day.

A few weeks back, I met some amazingly wonderful women at the eWomen Network Conference and acquired their favorite quotes, that I will begin posting on Monday.  This beautiful life journey would not exist if not for those I meet along the way. God’s purpose and plan blesses me to cross paths with some pretty awesome folks and I want to celebrate and honor these meetings!
