Interruptions, disturbances and interferences!?!?!  No matter how focused I attempt to make my day…the depth I exercise in tailoring my time to accommodate my schedule…something always goes awry.  It is the rare day that goes as planned.  What I experience most often is only through being flexible and available to the Holy Spirits guidance does my day go well.

For me distractions are actually my being stubborn with my to-dos.  You see there exist a tendency for me to complete things according to Meshell.  I don’t know if you too have found yourself afflicted.  But I do know it is during these occasions that things don’t go as they should (in my mind) and/or I am working/struggling to get things done.  A spinning of my wheels situation.

Yet when I succumb to the Holy Spirits direction and follow His lead in accordance to my purpose…my days are incredibly fulfilling.  This includes those times where I dropped everything in obedience to His plans for me.  So the true elimination of distractions, is for me to get out of my own way and to initiate actions that aligns with His plans for my life.

It is these days of demonstrating my obedience and love for my Lord that I lay my head on the pillow in heartfelt satisfaction!
