DISCIPLINE DEMANDS DILIGENT DECISIONS. © Meshell Baker
Is defined as the act of regimented activities to develop a skill or accomplish a goal. Triumph is acquired through a succession of continuous habits. The “unsuccessful” life experience is not for the lack of activities or decisions, it is simply the wrong activities. So discipline to me usually means sacrificing the temporary satisfaction to achieve long-term success.
Think about it. If it takes numerous mistakes and failures to accomplish anything great. That means it takes dedication and determination activities will accomplish a purposeful task and define our success. We exert the same amount of effort to succeed as we do when we fail? So why not choose the path that yields the wonderful and amazing.
Determine what it is you want. Set some goals and start you day doing the most important and challenging task early on. Before you know it overcoming and bypassing obstacles becomes your habit.
What are wanting to accomplish?
The most difficult word in English language is “DISCIPLINE”. If we can discipline ourselves we can and will accomplish much.
Difficult, challenging and at times just plain out foreboding! But practice make perfect…or should I say practice makes Discipline…:-)
