So this one is close to home for me.  I have had gifts and talents that no one in my family understood.  I was often told to STOP because I was too bold, too brash, talked too loud/too much, came up with weird ideas or I was making more work for others because I liked doing things well and correct.

It has been a long journey to learn that, anyone who I allowed to make me feel bad or cause me to apologize for my uniqueness/weirdness was not a friend. I had to step out of my comfort zone and find some folks who would support me and help me develop my unique gifts. Once I did that…my Uniqueness became my Superpower!  So to finally be at a place in life where I can boldly and bravely embrace who I am and what I have offer is AWESOME!

The first step to acquiring your cape, requires doing something you’ve never done to get something you’ve never had!
