Meshell & her team at NASP has helped mold me into a better leader for my team...and my family. During the program, they kept encouraging us to choose role models that inspired us in one vein or the other and model their behaviors. I don't think Meshell realized that she was one of the role models that I chose for effective communication. She has a knack for making the complicated...simple. This is one of the many character traits that allow her to lead with confidence and show others how to do the same. Meshell leads a “vision board workshop” that blew my mind. I have always loved writing goals on sticky notes and putting them where I can see them, to keep myself moving toward them. I have also loved making “vision boards” to have pretty, aspirational images to keep myself motivated. This is the first time I’ve had BOTH in one place — because Meshell has a powerful process of goal forming BEFORE making the board. So now I have a beautiful vision board that truly represents where I want to go. Can’t wait to do it again — because goals change over time!

Reaching for a dream is the scariest thing I’ve ever done. It wasn’t until I sat in a Dream Big session with Meshell Baker that I had to face the cruel truth that I was a coward. I have dreamed of writing a novel for over ten years. I knew the characters and the story but every time I put pen to paper or fingers to computer my sense of commitment would vanish. December 2014 I did a vision board session with Meshell as part of a Dream Big seminar and when I looked at that board at the end of the session I realized that I was missing the greatest part of who I am or more importantly, who I might be by not moving forward.

What I learned in that session that living is not enough. Living with a purpose is our one true calling. We can resist it or we can give into it. The fear that I had, that many of us have is that in giving in to it, we may lose something. I felt empowered enough to take a leap of faith and hope and trust. I committed to writing my novel. Half way through that process, the old fears returned. So looking at my vision board I faced the fear and sent 200 pages out to a small group of readers. I waited. I sweated. I cried. When the feedback came it was an affirmation of the story and my ability to write the story. But more, one of the readers loved it so much she shared it with an agent. Seven months after my life altering session with Meshell, I now have agent representation for my first novel. And I know that I can do it. And I know that I can be a writer because I am a writer. Dreams do come true… but only if you commit to them.

I have been blessed to listen to Meshell speak in my mastermind group and at a conference, I have attended. Our mastermind group was gifted with three 90-minute training sessions on tapping into your confidence and really bringing your gifts to the table. I have been experiencing many moments where the "dude" in my head is not letting me tap into my potential. Meshell was able to bring tools to the table to limit that voice but also replaced it with many inspirational and positive influences.

One week after out final training session, she was invited to speak at a live conference. Her voice on the screen was even more amplified in person. Charm, witt, energy, positivity, and power filled this room with her voice and her gifts. Meshell provided a powerful presentation on building that confidence you have in yourself. I was able to add more tools to my arsenal that I already had from her past sessions!

Meshell really brings the energy and passion she breathes deeply into a room. She also was able to bring a personal story that tied all of the discussions we had and applied it to a real example. I am blessed to have met Meshell and beyond highly recommend her to anyone looking for a powerhouse speaker!

Meshell is one of the most positive people I have ever met. Her high energy is contagious, after a section with her you feel different, and you see and look at things from a different perspective. After we finished the Flockjay program we had a few sections with her, it was amazing, she encouraged us about what was coming, job hunting.

During my job search, I received so many NOT, which make me feel like I was not enough, that it was a mistake, I would never succeed in this role. I got one last interview and I was totally down. I remembered Meshell's words" YOU ARE ENOUGH, YOU ARE MORE THEN ENOUGH!!! " I made it to the final round. I was panicking, full of fear and doubting myself, again Meshel was in my heart, I did what she taught us, I look at myself in the mirror and repeated to myself loud all my awesomeness, that I was capable, I'm enough, I can do it!!! I walked to that interview fool of confidence, feeling like the job was already mine, and I did it, I got the job!!

I recently attended a workshop led by Meshell Baker, and I can't recommend her highly enough. I first came across Meshell through her Women of Sales & Influence Series on Youtube. At the time I was exploring Tech Sales as a potential career. Seeing her and all those trailblazing women made me realize I could also be successful in a male-dominated field.
I joined a Tech Sales program and to my surprise, Meshell was the Keynote Speaker at my Graduation. Post-Grad she led the Alumni Programming Coaching Sessions. I looked forward to these weekly sessions. Each session felt like a retreat from the hustle and bustle of the job hunt. These sessions reminded me of my potential, they helped me stay focused on my goals and provided me a safe space to share my challenges with my peers while Meshell helped us overcome our self-doubt and navigate to our own solutions.

You should hire Meshell because she truly does inspire confidence. Her energy and insightful words have a way of transcending any and all people regardless of race, ethnicity, age, gender, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression. You should hire Meshell because the methods I have learned from her coaching sessions have directly impacted my mindset. These new skills are invaluable.
