SUCCESS is a series of Test, Mistakes and Failures achieved by those who refuse to stay down! © Meshell Baker
There are two school of thoughts about Failure. Some believe it is the Fear of Failure that keeps people frozen in their tracks. What if I stumble, trip or fall? What will people say? Others believe it is the Fear of Success that immobilizes. So I accomplish my goals then what? How will I maintain and keep it up? Either way the inability to act upon and advance towards your deepest desires is very real for some people. So how does one overcome the Fear?
Let me begin by stating, I agree, it isn’t easy! Let’s be honest. To have something you never had before requires doing something you’ve never done before. And yes you will more than likely stumble, trip and/or fail. Understand no one, I mean no one does something they’ve never done before absolutely perfect on the first try. So get over it! Perfect does not exist. Just do it, learn, do it again better and repeat.
FEAR…Face it, embrace it, focus on the end result or maybe enlist some assistance/accountability. Do whatever is required to take the first step. You don’t have to take this journey alone. Especially the initial steps of any large undertaking, put some support and assistance in place. It’s also good beginning to have clarity of vision. The WHAT will get you started, but it’s the WHY sustains you.
The easiest and simplest route to any destination is a straight line. Know why you want what you want and go get it! You are more capable than you know and stronger than you’d believe!
